Sesquicentennial Downtown Festival

Join the City of Colorado Springs for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration to celebrate our city’s Sesquicentennial (150th anniversary)!

Events kick-off with a “Parade Through Time” at 11 a.m., representing key moments in Colorado Springs’ History.

Immediately following, we’re going to #PartyLikeIts1871 with a family-friendly street festival featuring interactive booths, sports demonstrations, kids play area, live entertainment, food and drink, carriage rides and the Tokyo Olympic Games telecast on the big screen!

During the festival, special activities are also planned at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum. The Colorado Springs Sports Corporation is also joining the fun with sport-related and family friendly activities on Vermijo Aveune.
