The Colorado’s Most Endangered Places program is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Discover the accomplishments and challenges of historic preservation with the Colorado Preservation, Inc. Director of this signature program, Kim Grant. Grant will share examples from across the state and the many lessons learned along the way.

About the presenters:

Kim Grant has 40-plus years’ experience in teaching, state and local government, and non-profit program development and management, with special emphasis on historic preservation, downtown revitalization, and community development.  Mr. Grant is director of Colorado’s Most Endangered Places, a signature program of Colorado Preservation, Inc. (CPI).  CPI is a statewide, non-profit historic preservation organization that provides advocacy, education, and technical services to Colorado’s communities working to save historically significant buildings, sites and resources.  CPI believes in building a future with historic resources and that preservation of the state’s distinctive and diverse heritage helps to build a more sustainable future for all Coloradans.

The mission of the Historic Preservation Alliance of Colorado Springs is to provide leadership and inspiration to preserve, protect and promote Colorado Springs’ heritage and historic neighborhoods for today and future generations.  We accomplish this important mission through Advocacy, Education, Events and Strategic Alliances.
