Tom Fowler, Saxophone: For thirty years, Professor Tom Fowler was the Director of Jazz Studies at Wichita State University. He has performed with artists Mel Torme, Doc Severinsen, Clark Terry, Vince DiMartino, Michel LeGrand, Manhattan Transfer, Joe Williams, and the Four Freshman.
Trip Ziegler, Piano: Trip first received musical acclaim as a concert and recording artist, thrilling audiences around the world with concert tours of the U.S., Argentina, Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Colombia, Singapore and the United Kingdom. In the 1980s, he performed as the home game organist for Major League Baseball’s Seattle Mariners.
Pat Abbott, Bass: Pat Abbott is an Orchestra Director in the public school system as well as a college level Adjunct Professor of Jazz Studies. Pat has performed with legendary jazz masters Bill Watrous, Paul Smoker and Phil Haynes.
Dave Hardin, Drums: Dave is a former member of the United States Air Force Bands. In addition, he was a mainstay for Las Vegas show bands, laying down rhythms for the biggest names in musical entertainment. Dave has performed with jazz greats Kenny Burrell, Bill Frisell, Max Roach, the Glenn Miller Orchestra under the direction of Buddy DeFranco, Marvin Stamm, Bobby Shew, Art Pepper, Frank Mantooth, Bob Mintzer and Diane Schuur
