Cynthia is currently teaching and writing in Colorado Springs, and serves on the board of Poetry West. She lived 25 years in Europe, where she worked and reared two children who attended school in French. In addition to her poetry, she has published articles on bilingualism, biculturalism and cultural adaptation. She loves art history, theatre and chocolate, and, recently, as a grandmother, has undertaken hip-hop dance lessons. She was the recipient of a PPAC Microgrant for her poetry this past summer, and plans to use the funds to lauch a Poetry Out Loud program at St. Mary’s High School, where she teachings literature and writing.
