Holly Parker is an Artist, Curator, and Consultant who works with artists, collectors, and organizations to perform projects such as collection management, exhibition production, installation, marketing and other creative project demands. More than 20 years of experience directing galleries, art foundations, studios, and working as an Independent Curator gives her a unique skillset to handle the curatorial or project needs of any organization or private collection.
Holly is a Colorado native who served in the Colorado Springs art community for a number of years and is well known for launching the wildly popular First Friday gallery walks in 2002. Among other graphic design and advertising director positions, she spent over eight years in management for the Smokebrush Foundation for the Arts as the Executive Director & Curator. Holly received her MFA from American University, where she was a recipient of the American University Graduate Assistant Scholarship and the Mellon Fund Graduate Research Grant. Holly’s work as an artist and curator have both garnered numerous awards. She currently works from remote locations around the globe while devising cleverly creative ways to save the world.
