10th Annual Colorado Springs International Women's Day Celebration

This year’s theme is Planet 50/50 By 2030: Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate For Change.

International Women’s Day is a very inspiring women’s event in the Colorado Springs. We celebrate the power of women ~ our achievements, impacts, and commitment to gender equity.

The event celebrates the awesome achievements we have made and continue to make to advance women’s status at home and around the globe!

We will have live music during the Brunch by the Gioscia-Groothof Duo.

Speakers will include:

• Lisa Mae Brunson is a Creative Visionary, Speaker, Author & Social Innovator that is committed to impacting humanity on a global scale. She’s also the founder of Wonder Women Tech and Hiring Humans.
• Dr. Taylor Nygaard holds a Ph.D in Film and Media Studies from the University of Southern California. She researches and teaches about the social and cultural impact of gender representation in the media.
• Amanda Metcalfe is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Ph.D of Leadership, Research, and Policy. She’s also an assistant professor of Behavioral Science and Leadership at the United States Air Force Academy, and an adjunct professor at UCCS.
• Emcee, Dr. Rosenna Bakari is an Author, Advocate, and Scholar. She’s also a visiting assistant professor at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
