3rd Annual Women's History Month Story Time

On March 26, 2022, Lil’ Miss Story Hour will host a beautiful community story time event for  Women’s History Month. We will by honoring women and their accomplishments through stories, art forms, crafts, special guest artists, and picture books! Explorations include but are not limited to writing, illustrations, mathematics, music, and social experiences.

Book selections will include “Me, Frida” by Amy Novesky, “Mae Among the Stars”by Roda Ahmed, “Shaking Things Up: 14 Young Women Who Changed the World,” by Susan Hood, and “No Mirrors in My Nana’s House,” by Synthia Saint James.

Our special guests will be software engineer and percussionist, Nicole Maroney; poet and visual artist, Lindsay Maroney; instrumentalist and vocalist, Harriet Lundrum (aka My Name is Harriet); and spoken word poet, Kim Hoadley.

Mark your calendars and bring the kiddos!

Health & Safety:
Masks will be required for all attendees regardless of vaccination status. If you forget to bring a mask, masks will be available at the story time check-in table.
