5th Annual State of the Outdoors

Partnering with the Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC, the State of the Outdoors focuses on elevating the economic value of the outdoor industry and connecting its leaders with business and community leaders through inspiring topics, speakers, and an Outdoor Expo.

Join us on May 15 for an evening of networking, inspiration, updates on the current state of our outdoors, and more! Engage and connect with local leaders and groups who work behind-the-scenes to conserve, maintain, and enhance the outdoors in the Pikes Peak region for our recreational enjoyment.

You’ll hear from regional industry leaders about the current state of our outdoors, including:

• Forest Health planning, including fire mitigation efforts underway
• The Outdoor Pikes Peak Initiative – the regional planning initiative to advance conservation and recreation priorities in the region
• Updates and engagement opportunities for other outdoor projects in the region
