6th Annual Festival: Black Voices Matter Open Mic

Let’s honor Black History Month with an incredible celebration of Black art and talent. Poetry719 is partnering with Lil Miss Story Hour for a Black History event! Free and open to all.

It’s going to be a wonderful event during a wonderful month of Black excellence!

12:15-1:15 String Quartet performance by the Pikes Peak Musicians Association

12-1;30pm Black vendor market featuring some amazing vendors and wares! And a food truck!!

1:30-2:30 pm Lil miss story hour with special guests and activities. Books read will be Sulwe by Lupita Nyong’o & No Mirrors in My Nana’s House Ysaye Maria Barnwell.

2:30-3:30pm Poetry719 Black Voices Matter open mic featuring Alpha the Musical! Open mic list goes out at the event!
