A Festival of the Music of J.S. Bach

First Christian Church is presenting their annual Organ Music of J.S. Bach after a hiatus of two years. The program will feature Lenten organ works from the Orgelbüchlein and Preludes and Fugues.

Masks are suggested for singing, but not mandatory for attendance. The program will also be live-streamed on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/firstchristiancos.org/

Works to be performed: Prelude and Fugue in C minor BWV 549, played by Eric Wicks; Prelude and Fugue in E minor BWV 555, Prelude and Fugue in F major BWV 556, played by Daniel Wicks; O Mensch, bewein den Sünde gross BWV 622, played by David Acton; O Lamm Gottes, unschuldig BWV 618, Christe, du Lamm Gottes BWV 619, Christus, der uns selig macht BWV 620, Da Jesus an dem Kreuze stund BWV 621, Wir danken dir, Herr Jesu Christ BWV 623, Hilf Gott, dass mir’s gelinge BWV 624, played by Joe Galema, Prelude and Fugue in C minor BWV 546, played by Simon Jacobs.
