Join the Western Museum of Mining and Industry (WMMI) on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 4 p.m. for the July Lecture Series: More Than “Molly”, a fascinating look at the remarkable life of Margaret “Molly” Brown with guest lecturer, Andrea Malcomb, Director at Historic Denver’s Molly Brown House Museum.
Brown and her husband moved to Denver, Colorado, after achieving great prosperity through the discovery of gold at one of his mines in 1893. Most noted for her heroism in the aftermath of the Titanic disaster, she was also an American human-rights activist, philanthropist and actress who helped miners, woman and immigrants building a life in the West during the silver mining boom.
