Air Force Academy Cadet Chorale

The Air Force Academy Cadet Chorale is the longest standing club at the Air Force Academy, formed in 1958.

The chorale, under the direction of Kate Johnson, has performed every year since its inception to include performances in nearly every state in the Nation and internationally.

Members of the chorale are the USAF Academy’s official ambassadors of choral music.

In addition to public concerts, the chorale performs for visiting dignitaries, special civilian and military events.

They performed the National Anthem on FOX NFL for Veteran’s Day 2023 and will be traveling to Normandy to sing at the 80th anniversary of D-Day this coming summer.

The chorale will perform jointly with the Colorado School of Mines vocal group Miner Dissonance.

Miner Dissonance is a mixed voiced acapella group designed to give Mines’ students to showcase their vocal talent.

What started in 2012 as a small group of singers, has blossomed into an incredibly talented group of performers who achieve remarkable milestones every semester.
