'Annapurna' by Sharr White

Ulysses has been living a solitary life in a trailer. His ex-wife Emma appears at his door 20 years after leaving him in the middle of the night, setting the stage for a dramatic duet about mortality, truth, longing, and reconciliation.

Springs Ensemble Theatre (SET) continues its 14th season with Annapurna by Sharr White. Directed by SET’s Jeremiah Walter, the production will take place in The Fifty-Niner, a speakeasy in the heart of Old Colorado City.

At turns heartbreaking and hilarious, the play is set in a dilapidated trailer in Paonia, Colorado, where cowboy poet Ulysses (played by SET member Steve Emily) has been living a solitary life with his dog Jennifer. His ex-wife Emma (SET’s Julie Sweum) appears at his door ... view more »

Tickets are $25 (with military, student, and senior discounts available) and can be purchased at springs.ludus.com

The play runs 90 minutes with no intermission. It contains partial nudity, adult situations, and discussion of domestic violence.

Audience members are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy food and drink from The Fifty-Niner’s menu.
