This is a celebration honoring the contributions and legacy of Black Women in the Colorado community.
In 2016, April was designated as International Black Women's History Month.
To commemorate this observance, the African-American Historical and Genealogical Society of Colorado Springs (AAHGSCS) will host a Black Women's History Month celebration.
This event aims to honor the contributions and legacy of Black Women in the Colorado community with
- Poetry
- Song
- Dance
- Keynote speaker.
Several Black Women within the Colordo Springs community will be recognized during the event.
