CALL FOR ART: Three-Legged Stool Fundraiser

The theme of this exhibit is based on the Three-Legged Stool. The three legs of our stool represent Mind (Michael J. Fox Foundation: scientific research), Body (Davis Phinney Foundation: physical exercise), and Spirit (The Unsteady Hand: creativity).

Please create a piece or piece(s) based on the theme above in however you interpret it.

Each Artist can submit up to 3 piece(s)

All 2D pieces must be wired with D-Rings! If you have a non-traditional hanging system on your piece, it must first be approved.

In the event of sales during the exhibit the Unsteady Hand will receive 60% of the retail price (set by the artist), the artist will receive 20% and the Gallery will retain a 20% commission. All sales will be conducted through the Gallery who will collect purchase price and Colorado Sales Tax.

In Addition:

Tim Boddington (woodworker/artist/community art supporter extraordinaire) has crafted 7 quite steady stools for our fundraiser. Five of the stools will be “embellished” by local professional artists and two will be collaboratively decorated by our Unsteady Hand artists. We will present the Michael J. Fox Foundation and Davis Phinney Foundation with the stools created by our Unsteady Hand crew.

Dates/Deadlines:

• All pieces must be emailed to Abby, kreusergallery@gmail.com by December 12th, 5 p.m.
• You will be notified by December 18 if your piece(s) is accepted.
• Intake, December 28 at 10 a.m.
• Opening Reception, January 1, 5-9 p.m.
• Outtake, January 30 at 10 a.m.
