Canyon Winds Spring Concert

The Canyon Winds Concert Band will be presenting its Spring Concert, “From Broadway to the Movies,” on Saturday, May 20 at 3 p.m. in the Coronado High School Auditorium.

The program promises to be an entertaining one, featuring music from West Side Story, Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, plus a few older classics.

The Canyon Winds is a community band featuring members of all ages and musical backgrounds, from teenagers to octogenarians, and from beginners to professionals. They all share one thing in common, the joy in getting together to make music. That joy is apparent in the quality and enthusiasm of the band’s performances.
