CoS History Book Club: Disasters of the Pikes Peak Region

In April, join PPLD Special Collections photo archivist, Erinn Barnes, in a discussion of her chapter, Evolution of Fire: Our Changing Views of Fire in the Pikes Peak Region, from our Pikes Peak Regional History Series book, Disasters of the Pikes Peak Region. We will also highlight a selection from our oral history collection documenting the 2012 Waldo Canyon Fire.

A copy of April’s book may be checked out from the library (via our catalog) or purchased from PPLD Special Collections (20 N. Cascade Avenue). A recommended chapter and discussion questions will be emailed to all registrants.
