The cutest little race in Colorado!
Back again for our tenth running, it's the Dachshund Dash! Let your little Dachshund stretch their legs in a chance to win first place in the Dachshund Dash! Register your pup and watch them compete against other pawticipants!
Each racing team must have one Dachshund Breed dog, one person to release and one person to catch.
ADMISSION INFO
Registration for this event costs $15 per team. You can choose what age group your dog will race in when registering, along with which day you would like to race. If you would like to register for both days, you need to register twice, as your registration is good for only one day. Your registrations does not include the cost of parking, which is $10 (cash preferred).
Please remember to bring your leashes which are mandatory outside the pit and racing area! And if you can dress ’em in those cute costumes, please do so! Only Dachshunds who are well behaved are asked to participate. Please, racing dogs only allowed at the festival, all other dogs will be asked to head home!

Please arrive by 1 pm on the day of your race for Pawticipant Check-in. Please take into account the time it will take to park. You must check-in in order to race. We will cut off in-pawson registration for the race at 12:30PM, each day. At 1:45 pawticipants will congregate for the Dachshund Dash Parade, which goes from Pawticipant Check-in to the Racing Area. The Dachshund Dash Races begin at 2 o’clock Saturday and Sunday, but please be aware it may be up to an hour before your dog and team are able to race!
