Join us for a showing of the 2008 documentary film that Highlights the careers of a group of artists from the 1990s who began a movement in the art world using “do-it-yourself” principles and aesthetics such as graffiti, hip-hop and punk rock music, and skateboarding.
Artists interviewed include Thomas Campbell, Cheryl Dunn, Shepard Fairey, Mark Gonzales, Margaret Kilgallen, Harmony Korine, Geoff McFetridge, Barry McGee, Mike Mills, Steve Powers, Clare Rojas, Deanna Templeton, and Ed Templeton.
Non Book Club Book Club will lead a brief discussion after the film.
