Edith Makes a Paperchain was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado and has been named ‘Best Folk Band’ in Colorado Springs by the Independent newspaper (2011 and 2012).

Edith Makes a Paperchain was the winner of the 2009 Pikes Peak Arts Council Award for Excellence in the Arts in the Popular Music category and has been described as gypsy folk, indie rock, power pop and haunted circus music.
