Families in Nature Winter Hike

Join Colorado Springs Trails, Open Space and Parks (TOPS) staff for our Families in Nature Winter Hike in Ute Valley Park.

We’ll learn how plants and animals survive the cold as we explore the park, play some games, and enjoy what winter has to offer. The hike will be about one mile long and take around 90 minutes.

Registration is required and spots are limited – don’t wait to sign up!

This hike will depart from the parking lot on Ute Valley Trail Rd off of South Rockrimmon Blvd. This activity is designed for individuals ages 5 and up. No strollers or pets.

Remember to dress for winter weather and be prepared for icy, muddy, and snowy trail conditions.
