Family Day Industry

Family Day Industry will feature special exhibitors to include the Monument Fire District, Tavatek Engineering, and more.

• Hop on a hayride to the blacksmith shop
• Try your hand at panning with expert direction from the Gold Prospectors of Colorado.
• See the powerful Yellow Jacket Stamp Mill in action.
• Bring a picnic lunch or better yet, purchase some delicious food from Smokey the Pig’s Barbeque Truck.
• Feel the power as the entire building seems to come alive to crush ore in search of gold.
• Watch the 1920’s Osgood Steam Shovel (made famous by Mike Mulligan’s beloved children’s book, “Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel”) as it revs its gears plus other equipment used in mining operations.
