After a short business meeting and chapter update, the chapter special guest, Alan Peak will make a presentation about fishing close to home streams.
Alan fished closer to home bringing attention to Fountain Creek in the Colorado Sun article, “Colorado Springs’ downtown creek has long been viewed as a blight. Then one man started catching trout in it.”
In the summer of 2019, Alan fished the creeks of Pikes Peak alongside his friends, making it his most memorable summer to date. Alan Peak will come back to guiding in the spring of 2020 as an independent guide, as well as continuing the search for his next favorite spot.
