Fiber Fusion Collage Workshop

Fiber fusion collage is the layering and integration of fibers, notions, materials and colorants applied and adhered by heat (irons).

This workshop is taught by local artist Barbara Dimond.

As a mixed media artist working in collage, I have been teaching and developing this process for many years. I have taught at the Bemis School of Art, Pikes Peak Community College, Cottonwood, Santa Fe, and in my own studio.

The collection of supplies that I provide are textural, colorful and fun to work with. Join us for a whole new experience of collage!

We will learn how to frame, hang and adorn works of art with buttons, beads or jewelry findings. You will finish with a number of pieces.  Feel free to start collecting found objects to include in your collage!

This class is for ages 18 and older.
