Fire Ecology

Fire has always been something to be feared by humans. But the environment here in Colorado actually evolved to work around fires. Fire in our environment kick starts the cycle of new life and growth. In this presentation you will learn how the ecosystem of Colorado has adapted to a fire based system, the history of fires in the state, and what future plans the state has on how to deal with fires.
