Fossils Collected in the Southwest

Bob and Leesa Baker from the Lake George Gem and Mineral club will give a talk on Colorado and the Southwestern United States which have areas abundant in fossils.

What is now land over a mile high was once a shallow sea where trilobites, ammonites and brachiopods lived.

Tracks of dinosaurs, are evidence that they roamed throughout our region.
