Hanging Lanterns: Paint and Snack Class

All supplies are included for this fun class. Beginner to advanced students welcome. Learn basic acrylic techniques while creating your own impressionistic work on a 16 by 20 inch canvas. Choose the shape and number of your lanterns to light up your forest. It\’s up to you. A few techniques explored include, adding shading to create depth, choosing a color palette that sings, practicing one-stroke leaves, building an interesting composition, painting impressionistic glass, adding personality with a palette knife and especially, relaxing and staying loose.

An experienced art teacher, spacious studio, and limited class size help to provide a creative and supportive environment to explore your own artistic style. Light snacks and coffee, tea and water will be served.
