History Detectives: Pawsitively Pets!

Families (all ages) are invited to become History Detectives and explore the history of pets in the Pikes Peak region! Pick up your challenge cards at the front desk and discover a variety of activity stations throughout the Museum at your own pace. Learn about dog’s jobs with the Go Team Therapy dogs and their amazing handlers, see local history through the eyes of William Jackson Palmer’s pets, and get creative at the Build Your Own Pet station. Children who complete all three activities can pick out a special prize!
