Itajime Shibori is the Japanese technique of folding and clamping as a resist. It is so exciting to unfold the fabric and see what designs are created.

Join Ruth for a day of exploration and creative dyeing!

Student supply list:

• Natural fabrics, clothing items you might want to dye.
• Readers if you need them.
• Lunch, chocolate and an adventurous spirit.
• Wear clothing and shoes that is okay to get blue.

Class Level: Concentration – The student will be invited to learn more about a certain subject and be expected to have had some experience with it or have taken a prior class. These classes will probably involve several sessions.
