Introduction to Meditation

Have you wanted to learn more about meditation but aren’t sure where to start? Maybe you’ve tried a podcast and it didn’t lead to a regular practice. Join us in person to learn more about meditation, in the class we will cover:

• A brief history of meditation.
• Demystify meditation terms or concepts.
• Talk about tips and strategies for your meditation practice.
• Relax and enjoy a gentle guided meditation from the instructor, to bring a sense of calm presence.
• Afterward the meditation, we will conclude with a short discussion sharing thoughts on the experience and open to remaining questions you may have.

*During the meditation, you are welcome to sit in a chair, on a mat, stand, or even lay down.
