Jahida Esperanza and Lewis Mock

Jahida Esperanza and Lewis Mock will be performing live at Rico’s Café and Wine Bar. Jahida’s performances are known as powerful, soulful, and passionate. Spanning across all genres from jazz, funk, rock, soul, to folk and latin, Jahida takes each song and imbues it with a strong sense of self and storytelling. She is sure to give an emotionally charged performance.

Throughout the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s, Lewis Mock performed in different bands and road groups and toured throughout the midwest as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. In 1990 he became the house guitarist at the Broadmoor International Hotel and Resort in Colorado Springs for almost thirty-three years, where he performed nightly. He was also the guitarist for the Broadmoor “Pops” Orchestra and the Broadmoor Big Band. This dynamic duo is a “must-see”!
