Jazz in the Garden: Lila Mori Quartet

Simply put, Lila Mori is a versatile and dedicated vocal artist, entertainer, and educator extraordinaire. Lila has actively embraced a vocal career as both a jazz artist and a classical artist, and as a vocal educator. Lila has appeared as the featured soloist with The Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Colorado Springs Symphony, The Pikes Peak Civic Orchestra, the Broadmoor Pops Orchestra, and The Ken Miller Orchestra. For 24 years, audiences have thrilled to Lila’s performances with the Penrose Room Trio and the Ken Miller Trio in the Penrose Room at the Broadmoor Hotel.

Jazz in the Garden offers great music, gorgeous gardens and a perfect place for families and friends to gather over picnics. The concerts, which began in 2010 as a way to extend the parish’s commitment to building community through music, are free to all.  All concerts are scheduled subject to state and local restrictions on gatherings and events, but we are working hard to bring you a summer of great jazz!

KCME Jazz Radio 93.5 FM will live stream all Jazz in the Garden concerts for Summer 2022.

Additional information: Picnic welcome, beverages available. Blankets and chairs encouraged. Family-friendly music and atmosphere.

Safety protocols against COVID will be in place. Concerts will be moved inside in case of rain.
