MacLaren Society: Leisure

Join Thomas MacLaren School and Colorado College as we collaborate to present MacLaren Society: Leisure.

We will discuss the purpose of education, the history and value of the Liberal Arts, and the classical influence of leisure, with Dr. Timothy Fuller and Mr. Benjamin LaBadie.

Prior to the lecture, tours of Shove Chapel with an emphasis on the stained glass windows depicting the Liberal Arts will be offered by Dr. Timothy Fuller, an expert on these works of art.

The lecture will include a time Q&A about the purpose of education.

A reception over which to continue the conversation will follow, provided by the Political Science Department of Colorado College, and will take place in Gates Common Room in Palmer Hall.
