Barbara Bowen, local freelance writer and professional musician will be the next author to meet at the April discussion.
Barbara Bowen, who not only writes but was an accomplished oboist with the Colorado Springs Symphony for 19 years, will be the next Meet the Author guest. Ms. Bowen has drawn upon her dual careers to design quirky musician characters for her new "Musical Murders" series. Her titles include "Music is Murder", "Ballistics at the Ballet", and the forthcoming "Fireworks at the Fourth".
