Mezzomania presented by Opera Theatre of the Rockies
As part of Opera Theatre of the Rockies’ 25th Anniversary Season, a special Concert entitled “Mezzomania” will be presented on April 13.
Four fantastic Mezzo-Sopranos battle with opera’s greatest hits in one spectacular night! Audience members will rally for the following challenges: Carmen SmackDown (sultry temptress arias by the divas); Delilah’s Death by Aria (she took down Samson. Can she take down these famous arias?); Sangria & Tapas (seven Spanish folk songs divided four ways for a fun trip to Spain); Broadway Babies (some of the most famous mezzo musical numbers ever sung)...and more!
