Music Mondays: Jazz and Blues

Brad Easton is an extraordinary jazz player. The uncompromising finesse he displays on the saxophone is equaled by his robust tone and the versatility of the jazz lines he reaches into his soul to communicate.

Brad has worked with Frankie Lane, Cab Calloway, Rosemary Clooney, Frank Gorshin, The Temptations, Nat Adderley and Dizzy Gillespie. Brad is heavily influenced by John Coltrane, Stan Getz, The Brecker Brothers and Zoot from The Muppet Show.

Brad is retired Professor of Saxophone and Jazz Studies at Colorado State University-Pueblo. He was on the faculty since 2004. He previously was a member of the USAF Academy Band Falconaires and Blue Steel for 20 years.
