Music Mondays: Jazz & Blues with the Tidal Breeze Jazz Duo

The Tidal Breeze Jazz Duo with Valerie Rose finds a sweet spot between jazz vocal standards and a fun, folksy, hot club vibe.  The duo also plays a variety of jazz standards, Latin jazz, swing and New Orleans styles.

Early in her career, Valerie Rose embraced the San Francisco avant-garde art and music movement.  Travelling for 4 years with The Melodious Monks, Valerie played hundreds of shows from Key West to the northwest, and then spent 10 years playing ‘8 days a week’ at festivals and other venues.  A Manitou Springs resident, Valerie enjoys living at the base of Pikes Peak.  She plays jazz, swing, folk, blues and Grateful Dead fusion throughout the Front Range.
