Music on the Labyrinth: Peak Big Band

First Christian Church is presenting the next program in their summer Music on the Labyrinth series, featuring Peak Big Band.

They will perform a wide range of big band music, ranging from 40’s swing to Latin Jazz to modern Big Band arrangements.

The program will be held outdoors on the labyrinth on the south side of the church, but will move indoors for inclement weather. You may bring a blanket or chair, or just sit on the labyrinth wall.

An ice cream truck will be on site, and ice water is available. A free will offering will be taken.

Peak Big Band is one of the premier big bands in Southern Colorado, under the direction of Fred Martinez.

Members have played with jazz greats including Bill Watrous, Woody Herman, Glen Miller, and Maynard Ferguson. Several musicians have roots with the NORAD band.
