Paint the Town Blue

Since 2006 the Pikes Peak Blues Community has provided free concerts in Bancroft and Thorndale Parks to boost awareness of local blues bands and attract like-minded individuals to get involved in the furtherance and enjoyment of the blues and American Roots Music in their 20 year old nonprofit organization.

The Pikes Peak Blues Community has been doing Paint the Town Blue Since 2006. Always a free event featuring blues music as part of the mission of Keeping the Blues Alive in the Pikes Peak region. PPBC was founded in 2003, now celebrating its 20-year anniversary. This year PPBC will be celebrating with 8 features, 4 at Bancroft Park and 4 on the green grass at Thorndale Park with food trucks.

Bring your lawn chairs, there’s plenty of space, lots of grass, great places to eat around Bancroft Park before and after the show or get some food to go and enjoy during the event. We are proud to partner with the Old Colorado City Partnership (OCCP), the Old Colorado City Association (OCCA) and KCOS Digital Media.
