Black Rose Acoustic Society continues the celebration of its 30th Season with FLEXIGRASS as the Feature Artist.
What is “Flexigrass”?
It’s Pete Wernick’s combination of his fiery and melodic bluegrass banjo picking with clarinet, vibraphone, bass, and drums—a mix of both traditional and modern elements of American roots music.
The band includes Colorado all-stars of traditional jazz and country: Greg Harris (vibraphone), Bill Pontarelli (clarinet), Kris Ditson (drums), Roger Johns (bass), and featured vocalist “Colorado Songbird” Joan Wernick, popular KGNU radio host.

No Advance Ticket Sales.
Admission Is First-Come, First-Served At The Door.
$15 general admission, $8 members and students with ID; free for ages 12 and younger (Become a member before or at the show and start saving right away!)
Free, off-street parking is available at the Venue, as well as in the church lot across the street from our hall.
Baked goods, coffee, tea, and water available for purchase in the Community Center.
