Poetry719 Festival: Youth Open Mic

The youth performers in this city are fantastic and we want to provide space for them to demonstrate their talent.

We will have a workshop followed by and open mic hosted by Devin Walker a nationally recognized youth poet and a feature by Suzy B who just returned from competing on the Hear Here Youth Team at nationals.

Everyone is welcome, but the mic will be reserved for youth performers up to age 24 ( we want to make sure we capture those out of high-school who are working or in college).
