Join French and film scholars from local colleges to discuss the interaction between ‘Amélie’ the musical, and the film of the same name, as well as its place in French cinema.

A Parisian waitress is determined to bring joy and love to everyone around her through anonymous good-deeds and a fair bit of meddling, but when she happens upon her own chance for love, she finds herself running away. This musical, based on the 2001 romantic-comedy of the same name, follows Amélie Poulain as she discovers what it means to fall in love when she has spent her whole life watching others from a distance.
