Returning to Colorado after a transformative decade in New Orleans, Reid Poole introduces his dynamic ensemble, “Reid Poole and The Night Owls.

“Born in Fountain, Reid’s musical voyage took him through the vibrant streets of the Big Easy, where he honed his craft with groups like Dinosaurchestra, The Hi-Fi Swingtet, and The New Orleans Cottonmouth Kings.

Collaborations with renowned acts such as Herlin Riley, Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Orchestra, the Panorama Brass Band and Trumpet Mafia enriched his sonic repertoire.

A proud alumnus of the University of Northern Colorado and the Eastman School of Music, Reid’s moments with the Glenn Miller Orchestra on international stages were pivotal.

Equally passionate about education, he’s mentored budding talents in institutions from New Orleans to Colorado.

Now, with The Night Owls, Reid melds his rich jazz heritage with the energy of his home state, promising unforgettable musical experiences.
