Sing-Along Concert of Handel's Messiah

On Sunday, December 4 at 3:00 p.m. First Christian Church at 16 E. Platte Avenue is presenting a Sing-Along Concert of Handel’s Messiah.   This interactive event invites the audience to join in singing the choruses of Handel’s soul stirring and best known work, including the ‘Halleluia Chorus’ and ‘Worthy is the Lamb’.

This festive start to the 2022 holiday season features Jolyne Antista conducting, and Zahari Metchkov on organ. The program will include choruses and solos from all three sections of MESSIAH, accompanied by strings, organ and harpsichord.

The Messiah Sing-Along at First Christian Church was initiated in 2012 on a principle of openness – everyone is welcome in the performance.  Audience members are not required to sing, buy are certainly invited and encouraged to sing.

The Messiah Sing-Along is one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling holiday experiences in Downtown Colorado Springs. Join us on Sunday, December 4 at 3pm for a joyful afternoon singing Handel’s Messiah.
