The September First Friday will feature local painter, Stephanie Moon. Join 45° from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, September 2nd. First Friday is a wonderful opportunity to meet local artists, watch them create and select from their newest works.

Stephanie Moon has an unforgettable style featuring notable scenes. She uses mark-making and vivid color to bring the vibration of nature to life on canvas. A loyal west side resident, Stephanie loves spending time hiking and exploring the mountains when she is not teaching.  “Each hike is an opportunity to find something wild and beautiful that I can bring back to my studio.  When I come back and paint, it is a moment to recreate time in nature, but I am the one who decides what will be around the next curve in the trail.”

First Friday on the Avenue Creative Circuit offers free access to monthly cultural events at museums, galleries, boutiques, artisan shops, restaurants, performance venues, and more. Events take place on the first Friday of each month, 5-8 p.m. year-round in the districts of Manitou Springs, Downtown and Old Colorado City.
