Stitch Meditation

I am drawn to small intimate things. They remind me that the little bits and minor events that make up our lives are often the most important.

The textile sketches that I create daily are similar to a mediation practice. They help me begin each day with mindfulness, and creativity. I often focus on my intention for the day or capture the small things that happen in my life.

In this class, Liz will guide you through the meditation process and you will create a series of small collages using textiles, paper, embellishments and simple hand stitches.

We will challenge ourselves to keep each Meditation unique and allow them to flow from our hearts not our heads.

Your collages can be used together in one larger piece or become small intimate art works that stand on their own.
