Susan Rissman & Kj Braithwait

Susan Rissman has been a part of the Colorado Springs music scene beginning her career in 1987 as part of an all-female fronted band that featured the music of the most popular girls groups of the ’60s and ’70s. She spent several years working with a favorite Colorado band, Tiny Barge and The Big Chill, and then many years working with Big Horn, a group comprised of the United States Air Force musicians of incredible talent.

She has been described as “part ripping blues diva” and part “broken princess”. Not only does her voice capture your attention but the uniqueness of her setlist surprises and inspires. Susan and her players love taking the uncommon path in how they deliver on those tunes.
