'Tada Tava:' A Celebration of America's Mountain

Come celebrate America’s Mountain at the Tada Tava! Art Exhibit, opening on April 1 at Ivywild School and presented by Smokebrush Foundation for the Arts. The evening will feature original work by artists with the theme; “What America’s Mountain means to me.” The festive evening will include poetry and music by Head of Amelia, music by The Cosmic Flying Goats, and a dance performance by Becca Loevy and Georgiy Dmitrev.

The Tava Project is a community effort to return the Indigenous name Tava, which means Sun Mountain, in the Ute language, to America’s mountain.

Tada Tava! will be running through June.
