'The Aspen Show'

Bursting with vibrant golds, luminous greens, oranges and brilliant crimsons, Laura Reilly’s canvases in her annual “Aspen Show” evoke the short magical intoxication of Colorado’s fall colors.

Richly textured paints evoke the high country’s shimmering aspens as they sway gently in hidden spaces and open meadows. Laura’s palette knife and brush create textured and luscious paintings inspired by mountain hikes and watercolor studies made during the few short weeks when sunlight and temperatures shift towards cooler and shorter days.
