The Cripple Creek Ice Festival

The Cripple Creek Ice Festival is almost here!

As always, the larger-than-life ice sculptures will line parts of Bennett Avenue, which will include an ice slide.

There will also be food vendors and retail vendors along Bennet Avenue on both event weekends, including President’s Day, Monday, Feb 19th.

Both Saturdays and Sundays of the festival will also have adult beverages available for purchase.

The Colorado Ice Castle will also be open in Cripple Creek during the duration of the festival and tickets are available for purchase at https://icecastles.com/colorado/.

This year, event organizers have brought back Battle of the Blade carver vs carver competitions.

These thrilling competitions have 2 carvers competing live for a cash prize.

The carvers picked to participate in these competitions are given a theme, and then are expected to complete a carving within 30 minutes in front of the audience.

The winner gets a cash prize after all the sculptures are assessed by our secret judges.
